Disassembly and Assembly

Distributor, Disassemble

1. Remove distributor cap and rotor, Fig. 2.
2. Remove reluctor, then the pickup coil.
3. Remove vacuum control unit.
4. Remove breaker plate assembly, then the driven gear and shaft.

Distributor, Assemble

Reverse disassembly procedure to assemble. When installing distributor, ensure marks on distributor housing and distributor mounting align.
