Three-Way Solenoid Valve

Fig. 25 Inspection Of Three Way Solenoid Valve:

The three-way solenoid valve is located between the intake manifold and servo diaphragm Fig. 25.

1. Start engine and run at idle.
2. Turn A/C switch on and ensure servo diaphragm is raised.
3. Turn A/C switch off, then turn steering wheel fully to the left or right and ensure servo diaphragm is raised.
4. If operation is not as described, replace solenoid valve.
