Valve Clearance: Adjustments

With the engine at normal operating temperature and with No. 1 cylinder at TDC of its compression stroke, adjust valves in sequence as shown, Fig. 14. Rotate crankshaft 360° and adjust remaining valves. Note the following valve clearance limits:

Intake Valve Exhaust Valve

Valve Side
.010 inch (.25 mm) .012 inch (.30 mm)

Cam Side.
007 inch (.18 mm) .009 inch (.23 mm)
