Fig. 16 Connecting System Checker:

1. Warm up engine to normal operating temperature and run it at idle.

NOTE: Do not exceed 4,000 rpm while warming up.

2. Connect system checker 83 (49 G030 920) to the check connector Fig. 16.
3. Check if the trouble-indication lamp illuminates.
4. If lamp (red) illuminates, check cause of problem.

NOTE: Green lamp... This lamp flashes in accordance to the Oxygen sensor signal (feedback signal).
Using this method the mechanic can judge whether or not the Oxygen sensor signal is fed back to the control unit correctly.
