1. Disconnect connector from throttle sensor.
2. Using ohmmeter, check continuity as follows:
a. Insert .02 inch thickness gage, Fig. 21, between throttle stop screw and stop lever and ensure there is continuity between center and bottom terminal of throttle sensor and no continuity between center and top terminals.
b. Insert .027 inch thickness gage between throttle stop screw and stop lever and ensure there is no continuity between center and top or between center and bottom terminals of throttle sensor .
c. With throttle lever held fully open, ensure there is continuity between center and top terminals of throttle sensor and there is no continuity between center and bottom terminals.

3. If continuity is not as described, Fig. 22 adjust throttle sensor. Refer to "ADJUSTMENT USING AN OHMMETER" and "ADJUSTMENT USING SST TOOL".
