EGR Control Solenoid: Testing and Inspection
1.
Disconnect vacuum hose from
EGR solenoid valve.
2.
Blow through solenoid valve from side port and ensure air flows from air filter.
3.
Disconnect
EGR solenoid valve electrical connector and connect 12 volts and a ground to valve terminals.
4.
Blow through side port of valve and ensure air flows from top port.
