Crankshaft Position Sensor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Set the eccentric shaft pulley to the leading mark (yellow mark) by turning the pulley Fig. 39.

2. Disconnect the crank angle sensor connector.
3. Remove the blind cap and the lock bolt.
4. REmove the sensor Fig. 41.

INSTALLATION
1. Align the matching mark on the crank angle sensor housing and driven gear Fig. 42.
2. Check that the eccentric shaft pulley is set to the leading mark (yellow).
3. Install the sensor and lock bolt.
4. Check the ignition timing.
5. Tighten the lock bolt.
6. Install a new blind cap.
