Brake Pads, Replace

Replace right and left brake pads at the same time. Do not replace one side only.
1. Raise and support rear of vehicle.
2. Remove tire and wheel assemblies.
3. Remove guide pin bolts, then the caliper assembly. Suspend caliper assembly using a suitable piece of wire.
4. Remove brake pads.
5. Reverse procedure to install.

Caliper, Replace

1. Raise and support rear of vehicle.
2. Remove tire and wheel assemblies.
3. Disconnect and cap brake line.
4. Remove caliper guide pin bolts.
5. Remove caliper assembly from vehicle.
6. Reverse procedure to install.

Caliper Overhaul

When overhauling caliper assembly, refer to Fig. 12. When assembling caliper assembly, reverse numerical disassembly sequence.
