Fig. 18 Connect A Voltmeter To BrB Terminal.:

1. Connect a tachometer to the engine.
2. Start the engine and run it at idle.
3. Connect a voltmeter to the terminal (BrB) for the slow fuel cut solenoid valve and take a reading of the voltmeter Fig. 18, voltage should be below 1.5V.

4. Disconnect the neutral switch connector Fig. 19.

5. Push the idle switch in the direction of the arrow in Fig. 20 and increase the engine speed.
6. Check the engine speed when the voltmeter reading changes to 12V. Engine speed should be around 2,500 rpm or higher.
