A/C Idle-Up Servo Diaphragm

1. Run engine until normal operating temperature is reached and continue to run at idle.
2. Connect tachometer to engine.





3. Disconnect vacuum line from servo diaphragm and apply intake manifold vacuum directly to the diaphragm.
4. Increase engine speed to 2,000 RPM using throttle lever, then release lever and ensure engine speed decreases to 1,300 - 1,500 RPM.





5. If engine speed does not decrease as specified, turn adjusting screw as necessary.
All accessories must be off when adjusting the servo diaphragm.
