Three-Way Solenoid Valve

THREE WAY SOLENOID VALVE CHECK





The three-way solenoid valve is connected between the intake manifold and the servo diaphragm. The three-way solenoid valve for air conditioning restricts the vacuum flow according to the signal from the air conditioner switch, via the control unit.





1. Disconnect the vacuum sensing tube (A), from the servo diaphragm.
2. Start the engine and run it at idle speed.
3. Confirm air is not sucked into the port (B).
4. Turn the NC switch and blower motor switch to the ON position.
5. Confirm air is sucked into the port (B).
