Vehicle Speed Sensor: Testing and Inspection

Fig. 7 AAS control unit terminal H:

1. Remove rear seat and the control unit cover.
2. Disconnect AAS control unit connector and connect ohmmeter between terminal H and body ground, Fig. 7.
3. Raise and support vehicle and check that there is alternately continuity and no continuity when rear tire is turned manually.
4. If continuity is not as specified, check speed sensor and wiring harness.
