Pressure Switch

Pressure Switch Testing:

1. With ignition "OFF," disconnect pressure switch connector and vacuum hose.
2. Connect Mazda SST #49 H080 740 or equivalent aftermarket tool to pressure switch vacuum hose.
3. Apply air pressure of 10.4 - 11.5 psi (71.6 - 79.5 kPa) and check continuity between switch terminals.
4. With air pressure applied, continuity should exist. With no air pressure, there should be no continuity.
5. If not as specified, replace pressure switch.
