Main Relay (Computer/Fuel System): Testing and Inspection

Main Relay Location:

1. Check for a clicking of the main relay when turning the ignition switch on and off.

Testing Main Relay:

2. If clicking is not evident at the main relay, apply 12 volts to terminal "5" and ground terminal "6" of the main relay.
3. With voltage applied there should be continuity between terminals "1" and "2"; and between terminals "3" and "4". With the voltage removed, there should no longer be continuity between these terminals.
4. If not correct, replace the relay.
