Air Flow Meter/Sensor: Testing and Inspection

1. Remove the air flow meter from the vehicle.
2. Inspect the air flow meter body for cracks.

3. Check the resistance between terminals of the air flow meter and compare the readings with the chart below.

4. Press open the measuring plate with a screwdriver, and measure the resistance between E1 and Fc (fuel pump switch) and between E2 and Vs and compare the readings with the chart below.

5. Replace the air flow meter if necessary.
