Barometric Pressure Sensor: Testing and Inspection

1. Remove the rubber cap and connect a vacuum pump to the port of the sensor.
2. Turn the ignition switch on.

3. Check voltage between each terminal and ground while applying and releasing vacuum to the tester and compare results to the chart below.

4. If the voltage at terminal "C" or "D" is not correct, check the wiring harness.
5. If the voltage at terminals "C" and "D" is OK, but terminal "B" is wrong, replace the atmospheric pressure sensor.
