Barometric Pressure Sensor: Testing and Inspection
Testing Atmospheric Pressure Sensor:
1.
Connect a voltmeter to the
atmospheric pressure sensor terminal wire "D".
2.
Turn the
ignition switch on and take a voltage reading. At sea level the voltage should be 3.5-4.5 volts. At high altitude (6,500 ft. above sea level) the voltage should be 2.5-3.5 volts.
3.
Replace the sensor if necessary.
