Ignition System: Locations

Ignition System Description:

DISTRIBUTOR, CAP AND ROTOR
Located on the left end of cylinder head.

IGNITER
Located on left side of engine compartment near air cleaner assembly and coil.

IGNITION COIL
Located on left side of engine compartment near air cleaner assembly.

IGNITION WIRES
Routed between coil, distributor cap and spark plugs.

KNOCK CONTROL UNIT
Located near center of firewall.

KNOCK SENSOR
Located on back side of engine block beneath intake manifold assembly.

SPARK PLUGS
One per cylinder on front side of cylinder head.

TEST CONNECTOR
Located in left rear corner of engine compartment.
