Coolant Temperature Sensor/Switch (For Computer): Testing and Inspection
Water Thermoswitch Inspection:
1.
Disconnect the connectors from the water thermoswitch, and connect an ohmmeter to the switch.
2.
Check the continuity of the switch.
COOLANT TEMPERATURE CONTINUITY More than approx 17°C (63°F)
YES
Less than approx 17°C (63°F)
NO
3.
If not correct, replace the water thermoswitch.
