Ignition Lock: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove horn cap and steering wheel locknut.
3. Mark steering column shaft and steering wheel assembly, then remove steering wheel.
4. Remove steering column covers, then disconnect necessary electrical connectors.
5. Using a suitable hammer and chisel, tap a groove into the steering lock installation screw head.
6. Using a suitable screwdriver, remove the screw and steering lock assembly.
7. Reverse procedure to install.
