Main Relay (Computer/Fuel System): Testing and Inspection

1. Check for a clicking of the main relay when turning the ignition switch on and off.

2. Apply 12 volts and a ground to the 2 pin connector of the main relay.
3. Check continuity of the relay with an ohmmeter. With voltage applied there should be continuity between terminals "A" and "B". There should also be continuity between terminals "C" and "D". With the voltage removed, there should no longer be continuity between terminals "A" and "B", nor should there be continuity between terminals "C" and "D".
4. Replace the relay, if necessary.
