Replace left and right
brake pads at the same time. Do not replace brake pads for one side of the vehicle only.
1.
Raise and support front of vehicle.
2.
Remove tire and wheel assemblies.
3.
Remove pad pins and springs.
4.
Remove
brake pads, then shims.
5.
Reverse procedure to install. When installing new
brake pads, push caliper piston inward using piston compressor No. 490221600C or equivalent.
