Air Flow Meter/Sensor: Service and Repair

Airflow Meter Removal:

1. Disconnect the airflow meter connector.
2. Remove the air hose.
3. Remove the air cleaner cover together with the airflow meter.
4. Remove the airflow meter and the gasket.

Airflow Meter Installation:

NOTE: Use a new gasket when installing airflow meter.
5. Make sure holes B fit pins A.
6. Make sure the top pointer of the gasket faces upward.

Airflow Meter Nuts:

7. Install airflow meter.
Torque: 69-95 inlb (8-11 Nm)
CAUTION: If nuts are tightened below specified torque, the nuts may loosen and cause damage to the engine.
