Variable Induction System: Testing and Inspection
VICS System Operation Check:
1.
Connect tachometer to "IG-" terminal of diagnosis connector.
2.
Start engine and run at idle.
3.
Verify that
shutter valve actuator rod is pulled inward.
4.
Gradually increase engine speed and verify that rod is extended when speed reaches 5000 rpm.
