Throttle Full Close Switch: Description and Operation
The
Idle Switch is an integral part of the throttle sensor. It is an "ON/OFF" switch which informs the ECU whether the throttle is completely closed or not. This input is utilized by the ECU in its calculations for these outputs:
Fuel injection quantity and timing
Idle speed
Igniter
Purge control
EGR control
