M - Dynamic Response Test

Test Step M1:

Enter this Pinpoint Test only when service code 77 is received during Quick Test.

This Pinpoint Test is only intended to diagnose the following:

1. Throttle movement (greater than 3/4 throttle).
2. RPM increase (greater than 2000 rpm).

To prevent replacement of good components, be aware that these non-EEC areas may be faulty:

1. Operator did not perform brief WOT after Dynamic Response code.
2. Mechanical engine problems; engine did not achieve greater than 2000 rpm.
