DESCRIPTION

A rough idle, no start or hard start condition may be caused by a faulty ground circuit in the Electronic Distributorless Ignition System (EDIS) module connector.*


INSPECTION & REPAIR PROCEDURE*





1. Locate the EDIS module connector B-18 on the radiator support.* Figure 1.

2. Locate the gound circuit wire (black wire with a white stripe) in module connector B-18.*

3. Check the terminal on the ground circuit wire. If the terminal does not have a brass sleeve, replace the ground circuit terminal by splicing in a new terminal assembly (ZZL0 67 371).
