Air Conditioning Switch: Testing and Inspection

A/C Switch Testing:

1. Remove Logicon switch assembly from dash.
2. Check for continuity between terminals as shown on image. With A/C switch "ON," there should be continuity. With switch "OFF," there should be no continuity.
3. If not as specified, replace Logicon switch.

A/C switch input voltage can be checked at ECU terminal 1O, engine idling and blower switch "ON." With A/C switch "ON," terminal voltage should be below 2.5V. With A/C switch "OFF," voltage should be approximately 12V.
