Engine Oil: Testing and Inspection
OIL PRESSURE 1.
Remove the oil pressure gauge unit.
2.
Install the
SST.
3.
Start the engine and let it warm up to operating temperature.
4.
Run the engine at
3,000 rpm and note the gauge reading.
5.
If the pressure is not as specified check for the cause, and repair.
