In Air Flow Meter/Sensor

Air Flow Meter:

This Intake Air Thermosensor is an integral part of the airflow meter. It is a thermistor device whose resistance changes with temperature. By sending a reference voltage and comparing it to voltage received from the sensor, the ECU can calculate an electrical value for air temperature. The input signal is utilized by the ECU in it calculations for these outputs:

Fuel injection quantity
Fuel pump resistor relay

Sensor resistance is checked at airflow meter terminals "E2" and "THA":
