Metering Oil Pump Stepping Motor: Testing and Inspection

The metering oil pump stepping motor control system is an ECU output. For updated diagnostic chart, refer to MALFUNCTION CODE 37 under DIAGNOSTIC CHARTS. For updated stepping motor resistance chart, refer to TSB #D00190. If a problem is indicated, also check METERING OIL PUMP POSITION SENSOR under INPUT DEVICES.
