Preparation




Disassembly / Assembly
1. Disassemble in the order shown in the figure, referring to Disassembly Note.
2. Inspect all parts and repair or replace as necessary.
3. Assemble in the reverse order of disassembly, referring to Assembly Procedure.

Bearing outer race
Remove the bearing outer race with a pin punch and hammer as shown.

Assembly procedure




Bearing outer race
Press the bearing outer race into the cover.




Oil seal
Press the new oil seal into the bearing cover with the SST.
