4 WHEEL STEERING

1. Raise and support vehicle.
2. Remove components in numerical order, Fig. 12.
3. Reverse removal procedure to install, note the following:
a. When installing crossmember, loosely tighten attaching nuts, then lower vehicle and torque nuts to specification with vehicle unloaded.
b. Install lower arm to crossmember, and the trailing link to lower arm and body, then lower vehicle and torque bolts on lower arm side and bolts on body side to specification.
c. Torque stabilizer brackets to specification, then lower vehicle and check torque with vehicle unloaded.
d. Tighten stabilizer control link nuts so that there is .51 inch (13mm) of thread exposed.
e. Bleed brake system.
