Variable Induction Control Solenoid: Testing and Inspection

Solenoid Valve -- No Voltage Applied:

1. Disconnect vacuum hose from solenoid valve.
2. Blow through valve from hose "B" and check that air flows from air filter.

Solenoid Valve -- Voltage Applied:

3. Disconnect valve electrical connector and connect 12V and a ground to solenoid terminals.
4. Blow through valve from hose "B" and check that air flows from port "A."
5. If not as specified, replace solenoid valve.
