Recommended oxygen sensor replacement interval is 80,000 miles (128,000 km) for all except California specification vehicles. The Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) will automatically come on as a service reminder regardless of whether or not a fault has been detected.

MIL RESET PROCEDURE

1. Locate reset connectors beneath left side of dash. They are taped to the wiring harness adjacent to the relay box.
2. At 60,000 mile intervals, unplug the black wire connector from the brown/white connector and plug it into the green wire connector. Perform scheduled maintenance.
3. At 80,000 mile intervals, return the black wire connector to the brown/white wire connector. Perform scheduled maintenance.
