Idle Speed/Throttle Actuator - Electronic: Service and Repair

Intake Air System:

Engine Coolant Drain Plug (Bottom Of Radiator):

1. Before disconnecting water hoses from BAC valve, drain coolant to below level of intake manifold by removing the engine coolant drain plug at the bottom of the radiator.
2. Disconnect throttle cable, throttle sensor electrical connector, BAC valve electrical connector and water hoses.
3. Remove intake air hose from throttle body.
4. Remove throttle body and BAC valve from intake manifold, as an assembly.`

Throttle Body And "BAC" Valve:

5. Remove BAC valve from throttle body.
6. Install in reverse order.

INSTALLATION NOTE:

Always use new gaskets.
