AFTER-REPAIR PROCEDURE

CAUTION: Obtain audio anti-theft code before disconnecting the battery.






- Clear diagnostic trouble codes by disconnecting the negative battery cable at least 20 seconds and depress the brake pedal. Reconnect the negative battery cable.


VERIFY CODES ARE CLEARED






- Connect the Special Service Tool (SST) to the data link connector as shown.
- Turn the ignition switch ON, but do not start the engine for 6 seconds.
- Start and warm up the engine, then run it at 2,000 rpm for three minutes.
- Verify that no code numbers are displayed.
