Throttle Full Close Switch: Testing and Inspection
IDLE SWITCHIdle Switch:
1.
Unplug switch connector.
2.
Check continuity between switch and ground. With throttle fully closed, there should be continuity. With throttle open, there should be no continuity.
3.
If not as specified, check condition of wiring harness to
idle switch.
4.
If switch replacement is needed, it must be replaced as an assembly with the throttle body.
