DIAGNOSTIC MODULE

Removal/Installation
Note: Before troubleshooting, SEE SERVICE PRECAUTION.
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.






2. Remove the driver-side undercover and the lower panel, and disconnect the clock spring connectors.






3. Remove in the order shown in the figure.

2. Diagnostic module


4. Install in the reverse order of removal, referring to Installation note.






Installation note:
After servicing the air bag system, verify system operation by checking with the air bag system warning lamp. If the system is operating normally, the warning lamp will come on when the ignition switch is turned ON, then go off after approximately six seconds. If the warning lamp remains ON or OFF, or continues flashing, it indicates a problem in the air bag system. Check the system again, referring to the troubleshooting guide.
