Removal/Installation









1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.





2. Disconnect the diagnostic module connector and connect the SST to it as shown in the figure.





3. Remove in the order shown in the figure.
4. Install in the reverse order of removal, referring to Installation note.

Installation note





- Locate the crash sensor with the arrow on the sensor facing toward the front of the vehicle. Install it and tighten the bolts to the specified torque.
- If the crash sensor mounting area is damaged, carefully repair the area to its original shape. Install the crash sensor assembly.
