Transmission Position Sensor/Switch: Description and Operation

^ Located on the transmission, the neutral switch signals the PCM that the gear selector is either in neutral or any other position.
^ The clutch switch is operated by the clutch pedal inside the vehicle and informs the PCM that the clutch is either engaged or disengaged.
