Ignition System: Locations

System Components:

DISTRIBUTOR, CAP AND ROTOR
Located in front of the left cylinder head.

ENGINE CONTROL UNIT (ECU)
Located in the front passenger footwell area.

IGNITION COIL
Located on the left side of the engine compartment.

PICK-UP COIL
Located in the distributor assembly.

IGNITER
Located near the ignition coil.

IGNITION WIRES
Routed between coil, spark plugs and distributor cap.

SPARK PLUGS
One per cylinder on left side of the left cylinder head and on the right side of the right cylinder head.

TEST CONNECTOR
Located on left side of engine compartment near air cleaner.
