Air Temperature Sensor ( Ambient / Intake ): Testing and Inspection
Intake Air Thermosensor Testing:
1.
Disconnect
intake air thermosensor connector.
2.
Connect an ohmmeter to sensor terminals.
3.
Check resistance of sensor. Normal sensor resistance measurements are as follows:
K OHMS AIR TEMP.29.7 - 36.3
25°C / 77°F
3.3 - 3.7
85°C / 185°F
4.
If not as specified, replace
intake air thermosensor.
