Vehicle Speed Sensor: Testing and Inspection
Vehicle Speed Sensor Testing:
1.
Remove instrument cluster.
2.
Check continuity between cluster terminals 2A and 1J while rotating speedometer head at cable attachment.
3.
The ohmmeter should indicate four pulses with each complete speedometer rotation.
4.
If not as specified, replace speedometer assembly.
