Ignition Switch: Testing and Inspection



Ignition switch "START" and "ON" signals can be checked at ECU terminals 1C and 1I respectively.

While cranking, terminal 1C voltage should be approximately 10V. With ignition "ON" terminal voltage should be 0V.

With ignition "ON," terminal 1I voltage should be approximately 12V. With ignition "OFF" terminal voltage should be 0V.
