Removal/Installation
Fig. 82 Oil Pump Replacement:
1.
Disconnect battery ground cable, then drain engine oil.
2.
Remove
timing belt as outlined under
Timing Belt, Replace.
3.
Remove
oil pan and main bearing support plate, if equipped, as outlined under
Oil Pan, Replace.
4.
Remove oil pump in numbered sequence,

5.
Reverse procedure to install.
