Condenser Fan Motor: Testing and Inspection

Inspection





K8 DOHC engine vehicle
1. Disconnect the condenser fan connector.
2. Verify the condenser fan operation when connecting battery voltage as shown below.





3. If not as specified, replace the condenser fan.





B6 SOHC engine vehicle
1. Disconnect the condenser fan connector.
2. Verify that the condenser fan operates, when connecting the battery voltage to terminal A and grounding terminal B.
3. If the condenser fan does not operate, replace it.
