Air Flow Meter/Sensor: Testing and Inspection
Airflow Meter Testing:
1.
Remove
air flow meter.
2.
Check meter body for cracks.
3.
Check that measuring plate moves smoothly.
4
Disconnect
air flow meter connector.
5.
Move measuring plate and check for resistance between terminals as described on image chart.
6.
Replace sensor if correct specifications cannot be obtained.
7.
Reinstall connector after checking or replacement.
