No-Load Test

After adjusting pinion gap, form a test circuit as in
Fig. 23 using a voltmeter and an ammeter.
Use heavy gauge wire and tighten terminals fully.Fig. 23 No-load Test Connections:

Close switch K to run starter; voltage and ammeter readings should be as indicated under
Starter Specifications.
