Preliminary Checks

Inspect the following components and adjust, repair or replace as required before performing front wheel alignment.
1. Inflate tires to cold specifications.
2. Ensure front tires are of same size, ply rating and load rating.
3. Check for excessive wheel bearing endplay.
4. Check for worn or damaged ball joints.
5. Check steering gear mounting bolts for proper torque.
6. Inspect radius arm for damage.
7. Check radius arm-to-frame bushings for looseness or wear.
8. Inspect suspension components for wear or damage.
